Apple unveils new Retina MacBook Pro, Mountain Lion, and iOS 6 at WWDC 2012

The official Apple Worldwide Developer's Conference

Apple rocked the Tech world at the 2012 Apple Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC) last month, announcing updates to iOS, MacBook and Siri, plus a highly- anticipated Facebook integration. iOS 6 was the real show-stopper at Monday's keynote address. Scott Forstall, Senior Vice President of iOS software, introduced a laundry list of updates to the new operating system which will be available on iPad, iPhone and iPod devices come fail.

Apple also announced updates to its line of MacBooks. The new MacBook Air will enjoy a ajor power upgrade with a third generation Core processor with Intel turbo boosting, up to 3.2GHz. The computers will also support up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of flash storage.

The 'Next Generation' MacBook Pro will overhaul the existing computer; the retina display and 15.4-inch 2880 x 1800 screen makes it the world's highest-resolution notebook display. The Next Generation is about as thin as a MacBook Air, and is the lightest MacBook Pro in Apple history.

What makes them comparable?Samsung Galaxy SIII vs iPhone 4S

The latest buzz in the gadget market is comparisons of the newly launched phone models by top brands including Apple, Samsung, HTC and so on. Although Apple enjoys being the pioneer in tablets and smart phones but other brands have also fought their way up to a head-to-head competition. However, I believe each brand is unique in its features and they fit according to the user’s preference or comfort of use.

  • OS: iPhone now with the latest iPhone 4S has an iOS while Samsung Galaxy SIII runs on Android Ice  Cream Sandwich.
  • Design: Samsung SIII has been made to look exactly like the iPhone; I mean they be more creative than that.
  • Body: iPhone 4S weighs almost the same as Samsung Galaxy SIII; the former weighs 4.9 ounces   while the latter is 4.7 ounces.
  • Display: Samsung SIII scores a little high in this area because it has a horizontally wide display as  compared  to iPhone.
  • Apps: Both support the same apps except for those available in iTunes (some of them).
  • Price: iPhone 4S still holds its price higher than Samsung SIII in almost all countries.

Overall, Samsung SIII is so far their best of creations in terms of operating system and supported features.
